"I had the privilege of inaugurating a two-day training (3^rd & 4^th May 2023) on ‘Sensitization on Govt. Accounting and Office Procedure’ as Chief Guest organized by the Directorate of Rural Development.

The programme was monumental for me as it was the first time I addressed officers and staff from District Rural Development Offices (DRDO), erstwhile DRDAs, and from the two newly created Rural Development Blocks, viz, Kawrtethawveng and Tlabung.

The training course will cover the ‘trending’ topic of today - registration and mapping of employee’s salary & allowances through the IFMIS portal. The course will also be covering Accounting and Establishment procedures, crucial topics for the newly established DRDOs.
